- How to get to the Gorky Park
Oktyabrskaya station. Leaving the metro, turn left and then left again. Walk 3-4 minutes along the Krymsky Val street to the main entrance to the Park.
Park Kultury station (radial), Leave the metro and cross the Krymsky bridge over the Moscow river. The main entrance to the Park will be to your right.
Please visit the Gorky Park website where you will learn how, where and for how much you can enter the territory of the park as well as choose a convenient place to park.

- How much is the admission fee? Do I need to register in advance?
Admission is free, just come!
Please note that you need to register to participate in some projects of the Festival. Registration is free. Also, some workshops require a separate sign-up. All of the details concerning the registration and the price of the tickets can be found on web pages of the events in question.
- Why register at the Festival
This year, the Polytech Festival will be held for the fourth time. Admission to the Festival is free, however, registration is required in order to participate in some projects. You can register now on Timepad
or at the entrance to the Festival. To save time, we recommend that you register online.
- Food and drinks at the Festival
This year, the food and drinks at the Festival will be provided by "Local Food"
. They know how to quickly feed a large number of people with delicious meals. The food zone will be easy to find - it will be located to the right of the main entrance to the Festival.
You can bring your own food to the Festival but alcohol is not allowed just as drugs, explosives, weapons, stabbing and cutting objects, and poisons.
- How to dress for the Festival
The Festival takes place mostly outside, so we recommend that you carefully consider weather forecasts and dress accordingly.
- Do I need the money at the Festival
You will not need the money to enjoy most of the projects, the admission will be free. However, registration is required to some events in the program. At the Festival, you can buy books and useful souvenirs from the Polytechnic museum: raincoats, construction kits, coloring books, science posters etc. Please note that you will need cash in order to buy food, books and souvenirs.
- What is so special about the book market
Technology, natural sciences and humanities, new discoveries and fundamental knowledge… Exclusively for the Polytech Festival, thirty leading Russian publishers, and independent booksellers have selected collections of scientific and popular literature. So, you will be able to look into the future and enjoy the outstanding assortment of a bookstore that is going to open someday at the Polytechnic Museum. You will not see all these books collected in one place again until the reconstruction of the historic building is over.
Do not be afraid of facing any indifferent or ignorant sellers here. You will be served by enthusiastic publishers and editors only. They will be happy to talk about their books and help you test some of the texts in science experiments and workshops. You will also be able to get many of the books signed by their authors during some special autograph sessions and after the lectures at the Festival.
Moreover, you will also save a lot of money because at the Festival the books are going to cost significantly less than in stores.
- Emergency help
The ambulance will be on duty at the Festival. Should you need medical assistance, please contact the organizers or volunteers of the Festival, they will call the medical team by radio.
- Communication and free Wi-Fi
You will be able to connect to Gorky Park's free wifi. We remind you that in the case of a large crowd of people, the connection may be unstable.
To become a volunteer at the Festival, you need to fill out a form
on the webpage for the Museum’s volunteers and have an interview.
